What motivates you to be part of the PHNX Jury, and what do you hope to bring to the judging process?
I’m constantly inspired by the power of creativity to shape culture, spark conversation, and drive meaningful impact. Being part of the PHNX Jury is an opportunity to celebrate the bold ideas and innovative storytelling that push our industry forward.
PHNX has always been about celebrating creativity in all its forms. What new perspectives or disciplines do you think deserve more recognition in award shows today?
Brand Acts, brand collabs, and experiential ideas that blend physical and digital worlds while intersecting with entertainment and culture deserve more recognition.
Which countries or regions do you think are leading the creative field right now? And which emerging markets should we look out for?
Never underestimate the power and grit of Chicago...
What trends or cultural shifts do you think will define the most impactful creative work this year?
The most impactful work won’t just rely on clever execution—it will prioritize true engagement. Whether through storytelling that resonates with people’s real experiences, interactive campaigns that encourage participation, or brand actions that genuinely reflect consumer values, the key is creating meaningful connections.
Success won’t come from simply following trends, but from crafting ideas that ignite conversation, stir emotions, and leave a lasting impression. The strongest campaigns will feel less like traditional advertising and more like something people instinctively want to engage with and share.
If you could give one piece of advice to agencies and creatives submitting their work, what would it be?
The best work isn’t overcomplicated or trying too hard to be important. It’s the ideas that are simple, clear, and effortlessly connect with people that stand out. If you have to explain it too much, it’s probably not working. Keep it sharp, keep it human, and most importantly—make sure it’s something people actually want to engage with. Oh and make sure you keep your producer involved from the start.
Which creative minds are inspiring you the most right now?
Creatives who aren’t just making great ads but shaping culture in unexpected ways.
