Why did you think it was important to join the PHNX jury this year?
Extremely proud to champion creativity & inclusivity in an industry that they're not a given.
What do you think of our hybrid jury, featuring creatives but also strategists, clients and people from all corners of the industry?
100% spot on. Diverse opinions matter and good quality work is the sum of all the above sides. The creative industry is truly multidisciplinary so any awards should be too.
What do you think of the idea of free entry until the shortlist stage?
It's great to know that equal opportunities are being given to everyone. Would be nice if there was some kind of fund to support truly great creative work but for people who can't afford to enter the awards after they've been shortlisted.
How would you define the perfect PHNX Awards winner?
Curious, connected to culture, with a human-centric approach.
What is having the biggest impact on creative trends at the moment?
Culture. Being attached to culture is of paramount importance. Even a review of WARC’s Effectiveness 100 shows that the top ten is crowded with campaigns that slip-stream into popular culture.
Who would you nominate as your two or three “creatives of the year”?
Uncommon Creative Studio and their work for British Airways was rad.
