The goal of the campaign is to point out that for many years, numerous media workers and journalists throughout Serbia have been receiving threats, solely because they do their work professionally, objectively and impartially.
Most of the mentioned threats are formulated and "packaged" in such a way that the Criminal Code cannot recognize them as such, as a result of which they cannot even be prosecuted.
The campaign "A threat is a threat" indicates that it is necessary to amend and supplement the Criminal Code, which would facilitate the legal qualification of threats and endangering the safety of journalists, which are often rejected due to legal unfoundedness.
As part of the ANEM campaign, the "Lexicon of Threats" was published, which contains true threats received by journalists from Serbia through various communication channels. The lexicon was distributed through daily and weekly newspapers, digital media platforms and social networks. The electronic version of the "Lexicon of Threats" is available on the website
