Gary began his career as an art director at Doyle, Dane, Bernbach in New York. During his tenure at DDB, he was responsible for the creation of award-winning work for Sony, Continental Insurance and Seagrams. Gary then moved to the Marschalk Company as Senior Vice President and Group Creative Director. There, he oversaw the advertising of Stroh?s Beer, Ponderosa Steak Houses, Bob Evan?s Restaurants, Gillette, Ortega Mexican Foods, Coca-Cola (Tab, Sprite, and Mr. Pibb), as well as Minute Maid orange juice and Hi-C punch. Following the Marschalk Company, Gary was the Creative Director for three years at Bozell in Tampa, Florida, working primarily on the Florida Lottery account. Gary joined Townsend & O?Leary as Creative Director, Senior Vice President in 1994.
