Joe heads up the design discipline at Fallon , which includes Duffy Design. You?ve probably come face to face with Duffy's work without realizing it. Did a box of Kellogg?s Smart Start or a carton of Minute Maid juice catch your eye in the grocery store? Perhaps you?ve noticed a bottle of Knob Creek Bourbon in a liquor store? Or shopped for a Yakima roof rack for your car? Or maybe you?ve surfed the web and landed at bmwusa.com, nikonusa.com, or eds.com. It?s all part of the Duffy portfolio that has won countless design awards internationally and more importantly, success in the marketplace.
Joe?s work includes brand and corporate identity development for leading companies from BMW to EDS to Navistar to Nordstrom to QUALCOMM to Starbucks to UnitedHealthcare. His understanding of how design affects consumer attitudes has led to many big ideas executed in advertising, as well as design.
Joe holds a firm commitment to environmentally responsible design, having served as chairperson of the Environmental Committee of the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
The Gallery Von Oertzen in Frankfurt has exhibited Joe?s work, as has London?s Victoria & Albert Museum. He has lectured on design throughout the U.S., Europe, and Australia.
