As a cartooning student under Will Eisner, Harvey Kurtzman and Art Spiegelman at New York’s School of Visual Arts during the birth of the graphic novel, Stewart developed an understanding of the way a few simple words and thoughtfully sketched lines could complement each other to create maximum impact. As a copywriter for the last two decades, that foundation has informed Stewart’s approach to storytelling and enabled him to feel equally at home in the realms of TV, Print, Radio and Interactive.;Since joining Atmosphere as a Creative Director in 2007, Stewart has led the creative work on AT&T, Citi and Bud Light accounts, helping to launch AT&T’s awarding winning Where Do You Live e-commerce site, relaunch the Citi Never Sleeps mantra to a global audience and enable Bud Light’s Dude campaign to reach new monosyllabic glory in the online and mobile worlds.;Prior to joining Atmosphere, Stewart helped lead the American Express, SAP and AT&T Wireless accounts at Ogilvy New York, where he was a regular contributor to the renowned Official Card campaign and returned to his cartooning roots as part of the team on the seminal Adventures of Seinfeld & Superman campaign. As an ACD at DDB New York, Stewart helped lead Bentley Motors, Michelin, Amtrak and Bermuda Tourism, for which he created the 520-spot Radio Bermuda campaign that essentially introduced podcasting to a drive-time audience years before the term was coined. During stints at Pedone & Partners, Lord Einstein O’Neill and Cronin & Company, Stewart helped guide such brands as Leica Camera, NBC, Subway and Poland Spring.;Over the years, Stewart’s work has been recognized by the Cannes festival, the Andy Awards, the One Show, the Clios, the Addy Awards, D&AD, the Art Directors Club and, most recently, the Web Marketing Association and OMMA Awards.
