Gerard Fitzgerald

Gerard is a classically trained composer with an Associate Diploma in Performing Arts (mastering in Jazz Piano) from Adelaide University.
After performing live extensively in the early nineties with many Australian artists he joined Song Zu in 1993, moving to Song Zu Singapore in 1997 where he became Creative Director in 2001.
In August 2003 he became a partner of the Song Zu Group.
During this time, Gerard has composed, orchestrated and conducted numerous works for International advertising campaigns including Singapore Airlines, Mercedes F1, Sony and the music for the stage production of "Pan".
His advertising awards include London International, New York Festival, AWARD Award and CCAs.
Film credits include the documentaries Marco Polo and The Adventures of Zheng He, both of which earned him an Asian Television Award for Best Original Music.
