Jerry Solomon

Jerry Solomon is one of the most esteemed Managing Directors/Executive Producers in today’s brand creation space. He built his reputation on managing A-list talent, producing premium work and addressing the big issues in the ever evolving content arena.

Starting his career in NY in 1988 in freelance production, Solomon elevated when joining Epoch Films, then an 18-month old company, to run their MV division. Having built a creatively successful division, he transitioned into EP'ing commercials. With a bigger platform, Solomon began recruiting undiscovered talent from a variety of disciplines.

By 2003, Solomon relocated to head Epoch’s LA office and was named Managing Partner. Within two years the company’s billings increased by 20% directly related to opportunities from the west coast client base. With a thirst for expansion, Solomon spearheaded Epoch’s advancement creating Epoch London in 2005 and co-founding the branded content company, Dandelion in 2007.

Looking to pursue new challenges, Solomon left Epoch in 2013. While formulating his next venture, he consulted for the Lookinglass and also collaborated with brothers Rick and Sandy Smolan to produce the award winning documentary, “The Human Face of Big Data” which debuted on PBS in Feb 2016.

Diving back into the brand space, Solomon founded Persuade, a hybrid production model. In that time, he produced the award winning content/experiential piece “Love Has No Labels”. It was an immediate viral sensation with over 125 million views and the first PSA to win the Emmy for Best Commercial.

His career highlights include producing award winning work for every major advertising show and most notably the campaign of the decade for Apple, “I’m a Mac”. He has served as a national board member of the AICP culminating in being elected Chairman.

Most recently Solomon was named the Managing Director of Studio Ten (Formerly MindOverEye) a multi-faceted content studio and a division of the TEN Enthusiast Network.
