Paul and Dave both began their career at art school, graduating from Sheffield and Essex respectively with fine art and graphics degrees.
Both progressed through the creative departments of ad agencies, amassing reputations for strong TV campaigns, print and poster work.
They joined forces at Gold Greenlees Trott in 1982 where they quickly established themselves as the driving force behind much of the agency?s creative output, originating famous campaigns for COI Youth Employment, Cadbury?s - Creme Eggs, Flake and Double Decker, Ariston, Nurofen and many others still running today.
In 1989 they founded DFGW with Gary Duckworth and Michael Finn. They continue to create big mainstream campaigns with their acclaimed department of highly talented art directors and writers.
Over that time they?ve won every major advertising award in Britain, Cannes and New York Festivals.
