A graduate of the Institut Supérieur du Commerce in Paris, Stéphane Gaillard launched his career in advertising at an early stage. After working at several prestigious agencies, he joined Publicis in 2006, where he notably managed the Renault account. His work for the French automaker garnered widespread acclaim, earning multiple awards, including Epica, Cyber Cristal, and Gold Lions.
Among his most notable achievements is the celebrated “French Touch” campaign, a humorous and self-deprecating saga that began in 2011. The campaign features a chic and relaxed dealership representative highlighting the qualities of Renault vehicles, and it has since become iconic.
It’s perhaps no coincidence that this advertising series often features prominent athletes, as Stéphane Gaillard is a sports enthusiast and an avid marathon runner in his spare time.
