Dan Draghicescu

Since 1998, I have been involved in producing more than 350 TV spots in Romania and abroad for key clients/brands, including the first online TV series produced locally.
I spent twelve years in WPP (Grey and Ogilvy) and for the past few years I have been doing free lance work for Frank Group, and I have been focused on independent projects.
In 2010 I have established my own production company PINK STRIPE.
As I grew professionally, I challenged myself to follow my passion for movie making. At the beginning of 2011, I was the Executive Producer for a short movie: “Transylvania Girl” produced by PINK STRIPE, that is now finished and ready to be shown to the world.

I have successfully managed production teams, dealing with all production segments (ATL, BTL, PR, online interactive) with creative input throughout production and post-production phases. My routine includes supervising all production related resources (scouting locations, DOPs, directors, casting, etc), securing budgets and negotiating contracts, supervising launching campaigns for Romanian markets. I had the honor to work with the very best professionals in the field (creative director Pierre Rosenthal, film directors: Mick Davis, Howard Guard, Olivier Legan, Cristian Mungiu, Cristi Puiu, Catalin Mitulescu).
Regarding film production: I am Associate Producer for Kings War, Director Trevor Poots, Executive Producer: John Florescu.
