A commercially-minded executive with a strong track record, Mike Tunnicliffe is Universal Music Group's first head of Brand Partnerships in the USA. Mike heads Universal Music Group and Brands (UMGB) , a music strategy , partnerships and activation agency inside Universal Music Group, USA. UMGB works closely with all UMG labels, artists, and management to deliver transformational music based marketing solutions, platforms, experiences, and content across all brand categories as well as new revenue opportunities for artists, labels and artists’ brands.

Prior to Joining the Universal Music Group Mike was Chief Growth & Marketing Officer at WPP's GroupM , the worlds largest Media Investment Management business where he had responsibility for major business development and revenue growth across the group.

Prior to joining GroupM in September 2010, Mike spent the previous few years as an entrepreneur developing new businesses at the intersection of brands , entertainment and digital, and as Chief Strategic Officer for a top five global media company, His opinion is frequently sought to help shape the debate on innovation, brands & entertainment – and in particular, partnerships and associations between brands, entertainment properties and new platforms. His multi-faceted background comes with significant hands-on experience across multiple client sectors, having worked in many global regions with multinational clients in financial services, packaged goods, automotive, entertainment and more. He has been a keynote speaker ,chair or panelist at leading advertising and entertainment industry conferences, including MIDEM, MUSEXPO , Advertising Week, The Advertising Clios and many others

He has served on the board of the leading environmental not-for-profit group Rock The Earth, was Vice Chairman of the UK-based National Advertising Benevolent Society, and has been involved in a group of charities that raises money for the care of terminally ill children and teenagers.
