George Wu moved to London as a graphic designer. A few years later the BBC awarded her a BBC new music short enabling her to make her first video. This first production led to an MA at the Royal College of Art and consequently she was nominated for the Jerwood Moving Image award in 2008.
Upon completion of her MA, George formed the creative agency ‘Household’ with Sarah Gottlieb, and leapt into the world of installations and workshops. Commissions have included: Arnolfini, The Barbican and The Serpentine, and culminated in a solo show Human Error. Together they have showcased in Tokyo 100%, DMY Berlin and featured at Craft Punk by Design Miami/Fendi Milan.
