armine graduated with a fine art degree (BFA) from the prestigious School of Visual Arts in NYC.
He has worked as an artist and illustrator for periodicals: SPIN, The New Yorker, The Village Voice, Newsday and TIME. He was commissioned by RCA records to create album covers for artists Gil Scott Heron, Chet Baker, Lonnie Liston Smith, Sonny Rollins and Antonio Carlos Jobim for the iconic RCA BlueBird Jazz Series. He was co-founder and principal songwriter for garage punk band The Ton Ups. The group recorded and released music and videos for Indie and major recording labels.
He has worked in New York, London, Amsterdam and Paris for agencies DDB, D’arcy, TBWA, Publicis NY, McCann Erickson, Saatchi & Saatchi and Y&R Paris. While at Y&R Paris, he started and set up RedFuse communications Europe, a fully integrated advertising agency.
His US, European and Global client experience includes Philips, Anheuser Busch, Budweiser, Bud Light, Luerzer's Archive, Nissan, Subaru, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, American Express, Ameriprise Financial, Heineken, Amstel, Coca-Cola, RedBull, Credit Suisse, Intel.
His work in Advertising, Art and Music has been awarded, recognized and featured in Cannes, Clio, One Show, Eurobest, Luerzer's Archive, London International, Graphis, Boards, Communication Arts, Society of illustrators NYC, SXSW and more.
He is currently International Creative Director at Marcel for Luxottica Brands, Lens Crafters.
