David has held leadership positions at independent and holding-company owned digital, integrated and traditional agencies, with P&L management experience up to $350m.
Most recently as Managing Partner of MCD Partners he led corporate strategy and the eventual sale to the M&C Saatchi Group.
Between 2009 and 2013 at J Walter Thompson David was Worldwide Director of Digital and then CEO North America. In these roles he was responsible for driving growth, digital transformation and strategic acquisitions.
Prior to this he was Chief Executive at the Omnicom owned Zulu Network. A mini-network of digital, integrated, technology and experiential agencies, including five time Campaign Digital Agency of the Year Agency Republic.
Before Zulu David spent nearly eight years at Omnicom owned agency.com, most recently as global CEO.
David is a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a Webby judge and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He has held board positions at the 4A's, the Ad Council and the AEF.
During his career he has worked on myriad brands including: T-Mobile, Vonage, Rolex, Nestle, Diageo, Microsoft, HSBC, Johnson and Johnson, British Airways, The Economist, British Telecom (BT), Pfizer, Royal Caribbean,
He is a regular conference and keynote speaker on themes such as the future of social media, digital transformation and brands in a digital world.
David is a UK citizen and US Green card holder. He currently lives in New York.
