Edward Housden is an exciting young filmmaker from Melbourne, Australia, now making his name in London with his beautifully intimate and cinematic style (and devilish charm).
Edward’s passion for film began as a child from the moment he first laid his hands on a VHS camcorder back in the ’90s. Since then he has honed his skills at Melbourne’s Victorian College of the Arts while making subtly epic music videos on the side.
Edward’s graduate film from the Victorian College of the Arts premiered in Official Selection at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2010. Since then the acclaimed short film has screened at a whole host of major film festivals around the world, including the BFI London Film Festival, South By Southwest, Chicago International Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, and many, many more.
