Before joining DDB, Lance joined Grey in 2012.
In 2013 Grey was named AdWeek Global Agency of the Year. In 2014 the agency was crowned Advertising Age’s Agency of the Year. Lance doesn’t take credit for these accolades, but there might be some connection. During his time at Grey he helped pitch and win Gillette’s global business, Bose, Advil, and Applebee’s. He’s built a team of 15 diversely talented creatives who all happen to be nice. Lance's work has received pats on the back from Cannes, D&AD, One Show, Clios, Art Directors Club, London International, Effies and his work has shown up in the Super Bowl 5 times.
Lance began his career at BBH cutting his teeth on Levi, Axe, and Virgin Mobile. From there it was on to Kirshenbaum Bond where he helped them win BMW and Wendy’s.
He grew up on a cattle and tobacco farm in the middle of Kentucky. After a series of mistakes he finally looked up and realized he was living in Manhattan making Ads. He’s still doing this. He insists on doing nice work with nice people.
