Welcome to Dominic Locher Films, a nimble video production service based in London & Sydney. We create emotive, cinematic content for brands & labels alongside major ad agencies around the world. We also enjoy working for brands and smaller labels directly.

Dominic Locher’s personal core talent lies in creating moving digital content across advertising, fashion film, bespoke event, brand experience, and music documentary, which is where his reputation was cultivated over the last decade in Sydney.

Dominic Locher nurtured an appetite for artistic expression at a young age through an education at Michael Hall, the school of Rudolf Steiner in Sussex, England.

After a finding a passion for photography Dominic went on to expand his conceptual way of working at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in South London.

A strong influence by the late great mentor & tutor Sean Kimber (RIP) lead him to a BA degree in Fine Art Film at Central Saint Martins in London (2000).

Inspired by the godfather of music video & commercials ‘Andy Morahan’ ( Gun’s n Roses, Michael Jackson, Guess Jeans) he accepted a post with his production company ‘Bikini Films’ in Soho London.

Three years later he opened up shop in Sydney as a promo production service for ad agencies and record labels. His early dose of creative experimentation allowed him to stand out and contribute some edge to experiential brand activity and music industry video production.

Dominic’s skill set today sees him direct and shoot work for ad & content agencies, production companies, and recently his own realigned digitally-focused commercials and fashion film production outfit operating in both London and Sydney.
