Rachel Holbrook has spent her career unearthing simple ways to make beautiful content in complicated environments. She is as swift picking up a camera as she is directing a crew of 100. Having managed film, photography and experiential productions in over 30 countries, she is culturally ambidextrous and a zen master at finding solutions to weird problems.
Rachel's combination of roles at Coca-Cola provided her with unique exposure to experiential marketing, strategic brand marketing and advertising, as well as the opportunity to manage creative development of the Olympic Games in Beijing, China. During her time managing Content Production in the Creative Excellence group, the 130-year old brand was named Marketer of the Year at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.
In 2014, following Coca-Cola, she joined Airbnb as their Global Head of Production. Now quadrupled in size with no signs of slowing down, Airbnb has grown to be a disruptor in the travel category, and Rachel has grown her team along with it. She leads a multi-discipline creative and production powerhouse that is redefining marketing for the 21st century.
Since starting a family in 2010, she has traded airport lounges for her home in San Francisco where she spends time with her husband and their three boys. She is a calm but loud voice in the tech space for women in leadership and is an active participant in the TED Women and Women in Film communities.
Her work has been honored with Cannes Lions, Effie's and Webby awards.
