Dov was raised in Melbourne, Australia where he attended business school and graduated among the top of his class in 1999. But that's neither here nor there. Dov makes ads. And they're the best ads ever created. Of course this is according to his mom. And that's all the praise he needs. After all, shiny awards don't give long, comforting hugs.
Although, if he may be so bold, Dov has been awarded by some very nice organizations: Cannes, D&AD, Sundance, One Show, Webby and Effie, among others.
Dov studied copywriting at London's D&AD Advertising School in 2000. He was then recruited by Saatchi & Saatchi where he wrote campaigns for Visa, Club 18-30, and the NSPCC.
He returned to Australia in 2001 joining J. Walter Thompson where he produced ads for Ford, The Red Cross, Disney and Blockbuster.
In 2002 Dov moved to New York and helped launch the Nextel brand nationally at the now defunct TBWA\Chiat Day\Tequila (you make the connection). He then worked at FCB and R\GA contributing to brands like HP and Nokia. In 2007 Dov joined Ogilvy & Mather where he would spend the next 4+ years creating award-winning work for Cisco, Time Warner Cable, IBM and American Express.
He's currently an SVP Group Creative Director at McCann Erickson where he works on brands like General Mills, Mastercard, Nikon, Nestlé, Verizon and the U.S Army. Dov has also played a pivotal role in McCann winning new business including: Mucinex, Choice Hotels, The United Staes Postal Service, The American Frozen Food Institute, State Street Global Advisors and Jose Cuervo.
On a personal note, Dov lives on a cloud with his wife Jessica and their adorable yet socially inappropriate kids, Ella, Judah & Ezra.
