I learnt everything I know from Google, and the clever people I have had the fortune of working with. In my role as Head of Strategy at Leo Burnett, I mine data, make sense of the consumer landscape madness and regularly tame clients and creatives. This awesome position was preceded by 4 1/2 years at Grey Africa, previously heading up the PR, Social and Digital Divisions, before earning my way into strategy through a combination of relentless curiosity and an inability to keep my mouth shut. Prior to GREY, I was a Senior Consultant at Ireland-Davenport, working on the South African Tourism business. I have been in marketing for 16 years, but start everyday assuming nothing. In July 2015 I received the Standard Bank Rising Star Award in the Media & Marketing Category. These awards recognise leading South Africans under the age of 40 across twelve business sectors.
