In addition to sourcing exclusive stories through investigative journalism, I covered all business related topics within the industry including news on major acquisitions, new brands and liquidations to litigation cases, mergers and trading updates.
I produced a wide variety of in-depth features, one of which required me to travel to Lima for Peru Fashion Week.
This B2B role also required me to proof read, sub-edit and help formulate e-newsletters.

From murders and fires to planning rows and community events, I was responsible for sourcing news from several nearby large villages and towns.
I attended magistrates and crown court on a regular basis and frequently broke exclusive front page stories.
I have reported on a huge variety of news stories from local politics, business, elections and major court cases to inquests, planning inquiries, many off diary stories and countless breaking news incidents.
I managed and organised the video aspect of the newspaper's website by filming and editing news videos.
Part of my daily role included online networking, providing feedback to readers, creating online polls and linking the website with social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
I also contributed to two other sister publications (North Somerset Times and Midweek Mercury).
Several of my stories have also featured in the national press.
