About me

Michael finds it incredibly uncomfortable writing in the third person so unlike most LinkedIn summaries he'll switch to first person following this full stop.

I'm a big believer in the mantra of doing what you love and doing it well. There's a couple of things in life that I love more than most:

■ Marketing
■ Writing
■ Entrepreneurship

I spent the first few years of my career working client-side for an online book retailer, followed by an online stockbroker.

Building on that experience, I switched to the agency-side of the equation, to help run boutique digital agency Young Wisdom. I spent my time developing digital marketing strategies, managing key accounts and running campaigns for our growing client base.

I graduated from Sydney University with a Commerce degree and a third of a Law degree, so two-thirds of my personality are still intact.

I worked at Google Australia for two years, covering YouTube and Ads Marketing for Australia and New Zealand. Now I've traded in the surf for the snow and work on Product Marketing for YouTube globally, out of our New York office.

I was named in B&T Magazine's 30 Under 30 for 2016 and represented Australia at the Cannes Young Lions competition in 2017.
