Tim is an award winning director, actor and screenwriter. Tim is the 2017 recipient of the ABC Pitch iView Award, which sees him developing his television comedy series, Waiting. A graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts (Acting), Tim began his career as a stand-up comedian and actor, featuring in numerous film and television roles. Tim wrote, co-produced and starred in the Tropfest winning film, Lemonade Stand, which has gone on to collect awards at many national and international festivals. Following this success, Tim has developed his first television series and written for Gristmill’s (Upper Middle Bogan) ABC comedy, Little Lunch. As an actor, Tim has most recently appeared in Upper Middle Bogan, Newton’s Law, Ronnie Chieng: International Student and Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge. He also features in the current season of Working Dog’s series, Utopia.
His background in acting and writing brings a sensitivity to his work as a director, with extraordinary casting and an ability to work with actors that comes from knowing what it’s like to be on ‘the other side’.
