Creative thinking encompasses disciplines far beyond the ability to write or design well. As communication professionals, we need to understand behavior and thinking, the way people interact with objects and surroundings and each other, and the thought processes and motivations that drive action. We have the ability to use our skill as often-abstract ‘creative thinkers’ to innovate the way our target audience reacts to what we present them.
I'm a creative director and strategist; a designer, writer, and conceptual thinker. I've helped build agencies and companies from the ground level; expanded business through successful pitches and organic growth based on strong client relationships; worked across multiple brands, mediums and channels; and headed the creation of award-winning global campaigns, interactive and digital innovations, and compelling congress and meeting experiences.
Throughout my career, I've worked with some of the best and brightest in the industry. I've been blessed with bosses, clients, mentors, and colleagues that have given me the opportunity to experience different facets of advertising and marketing. I've also been able to work with brilliant art directors and copywriters, helping to guide and mentor them through their career.
