Brendan is a multi-disciplinary designer living in Brooklyn, NY. He is a co-founder at Dexter, a platform for creating and managing conversational interactions. He leads in the experience design of Dexter, develops the feature set for its users and creates engaging products for brand partners.
Prior to Dexter, Brendan co-founded Mayday, where he worked on everything from UX design and technical direction to creative production and account management. He led projects that spanned both vertical and client size, including award-winning digital campaigns for Comedy Central, brand showcases for Marriott and Levi's, and digital product design for startup stage entrepreneurs.
Before Mayday, Brendan worked as a producer at Jed Root, Inc., an agency representing the industry’s top photographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, and illustrators. In his time there, he produced work for The New York Times, Numéro, Interview, GQ, Vogue, Dazed & Confused, Wonderland, Elle and WSJ, as well as campaigns for Calvin Klein, Target, Uniqlo, Opening Ceremony, DKNY and Gant.
Brendan received his Master of Science degree from Northwestern University — where he concentrated in interactive production and product development — and a BA from New York University. He lives in Brooklyn and unabashedly roots for the New York Metropolitans.
