Lucky to be working with the best people in the creative industry. Simple.
But my journey started when I founded my own PR agency in 2003 and through a growth based acquisition and merger strategy, sold the agency first to the Writtle Group in 2012 to takeover Speed Communications, then for a second time to AIM listed Mission Marketing Group in November 2014 to create an 80 strong team and offices in London and Bristol.
During this time I worked across the sports, health and fitness industry, leading domestic and European communications strategies for a host of global sports and FMCG brands and rights holders. These included The North Face, adidas, UEFA, The European Tour – 2010 Ryder Cup, Lucozade, Technogym, The London Marathon and various brands within Unilever and GSK and a host of fast growth sports tech businesses.
A specialist in women’s sport and participation, I was a board member of Sport England between 2013 - 2019, where I was strategic Board lead for the hugely successful and award winning This Girl Can campaign, a transformative sports participation and behaviour change programme designed to encourage more women and girls to get active and take part in sport.
Naturally, this depth and breath of work across the commercial and political sectors has enabled me to gain exceptional stakeholder management skills. Having successfully driven change programmes across my own business, whether it be the management of complex takeovers, to evaluating the strategic direction of a business or brand, challenges like this appeal strongly.
