About me
I am a father, husband and occasionally a creative, art director, designer, photographer and motion graphics animator from New Zealand. I am pretty much consumed by anything that involves creative problem solving and/or is strategically beautiful.
— Bruce Mau once said “our work exists between the purity of invention and the contamination of compromise” but I’ve always found a compromise to be the greatest display of empathy in what we do.
My OCD and infatuation with fine typography ensures I have an eye for detail. I like ideas that are simple, driven by music and at all cost try to tailor solutions with that in mind.
I will confidently defend my team's work. I am always open to new ideas and respect the importance of client and colleagues' constructive criticism – without that, I'd be painting Rothko-esk abstracts in Motueka.
