Rafael Reina has worked for leading agencies in Colombia for 12 years, being in charge of digital and creative projects. He recently assumed the responsibility of managing the creative operation as Executive Creative Director of Ogilvy, Puerto Rico. His work has been recognized at creativity festivals such as: Cannes, Clio, New York, One Show, Webby, FIAP, El Sol, Wave, Ojo de Iberoamerica, El Dorado and Effie. He was involved in one of the most awarded digital campaigns in Colombia and is also the winner of the country's first Grand Prix in Cannes. Recognized by Adlatina as one of the best creative young people of the region 2014–2015. His career began in a videogame and software development agency, where he rose to become a Gaming Director. In October 2008, he decided to change his career and joined the BBDO network with Proximity, arriving in Leo Burnett Colombia in 2010, where for almost 9 years he helped transform the agency with a vision of innovation, improving the creative and digital reputation of Leo Burnett and Publicis One.
He has worked for accounts like: DirecTV, Falabella, Renault, McDonald’s, SAP Miller, Kellogg’s, P&G, Coca-Cola, Philip Morris, Samsung, Kia Motors, Visa, Avianca, DHL, m&m’s, Pepsi, Davivienda Bank, Seguros Bolivar, Alpina, Liga Contra El Cancer, Special Olympics, Cruz Roja.
He is currently taking on the challenge of developing DLC Ogilvy, Puerto Rico, into a center for business solutions for customers, focusing on innovation and creativity. His career includes consulting services. He has also participated as a professional speaker in different academic and creative programs in the region.
