Kristine Brown, or as many know her “KB” is a one-of-a-kind creative who has left her mark on both the advertising and interior design worlds. She began her creative career as an interior designer in Los Angeles, but discovered her true passion for advertising while attending The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). It was there that she was inspired to combine her art director's eye, copywriter’s tongue, and keen understanding of human insights to forge a path in healthcare advertising. 10 years later, KB has honed her skills at award winning agencies such as FCB Health, Hill Holliday Health, and now Klick Health where she is an Associate Creative Director.
KB’s expertise lies in concepting, but her unique voice can be found across a wide variety of work, spanning from high-science projects, to emotional direct to consumer campaigns, moving manifestos, to even ghostwriting for celebrities. However, where KB really shines is using her creative skills to solve big health challenges. For instance, the Clio Award-winning work, “The Curious Eye” was the world’s first color blind interactive storybook created to help diagnose CVD in children earlier. She also worked on the Gold Lion winning “The Congregation” , a system of beliefs created to combat the overturning of Roe v. Wade. KB was also part of a team that developed “Self Defense Sauce,” creating a special nozzle that turned hot sauce into a stealthy self-defense innovation for women in Brazil. Building on her passion for innovation, KB recently ventured into the tech and gaming world with 'The Stress Controller,' a groundbreaking device that turns any game controller into an ECG, earning two Creative Floor awards for Best Use of Technology and Product Design in Charity Pro Bono.
In addition to her creative endeavors, KB has also played an integral role in Klick’s creative incubator The Workshop, which has been shaking up the industry. Her work has helped Klick land top honors at the world’s most prestigious advertising contests, including the Clios, Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, and ADC. KB has also served on New York Festivals Health, Webbys, ANDYs, Clio Health, and the Clios. Additionally, KB lends her expertise as a juror, serving on panels for the Effies, Webbys, AdForum PHNX Awards, and most recently, the Grand Jury of the New York Festivals 2024.
When she's not perfecting her AI prompts or mentoring younger creatives, KB can be found practicing her wicked slice-serve on the tennis courts, reconnecting with her classically trained watercolor roots, or manifesting her goal to become a Real Housewife of NY one day.
