Jose Cambronero is a creative copywriter passionate about strategic creativity, sports, and great storytelling. Over the course of his 9-year career, "Cambro," as he is commonly known in the industry, has had the privilege of working at some of Costa Rica's top agencies, including BBDO, MullenLowe, and DDB. He has been both the creator and collaborator on successful advertising campaigns across multiple categories, including alcoholic beverages, education, automotive, banking, and NGOs. His passion for sports has become a distinctive trait, especially when developing ideas related to this subject.
In 2022, he joined Joystick, FIFCO, an in-house agency newly established for the most important beverage and food brands in the region. In just two years, his efforts have earned over 100 awards at festivals such as Cannes Lions, , Epica Awards,Clio, One Show, New York Festivals, El Sol, Phnx Awards, MAD Stars, FIAP, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Luum Awards, Top Fice, Wina Awards, FePi, Festival Antigua, and Festival Volcán Costa Rica.
Additionally, his work has contributed to Joystick being recognized as the Best Agency and Best Independent Agency in Costa Rica and Central America across more than eight global, regional, and local festivals.
