Augusto Landauro currently serves as the Chief Content Officer at VML Latin America, where he has strategically elevated creative content development to new heights. With a renowned career spanning over 18 years, Augusto has been instrumental in orchestrating global campaigns across VML's extensive network of agencies and content studios. His deep expertise in crafting compelling brand experiences, pioneering innovation, storytelling, and envisioning exceptional visual solutions has solidified his reputation as a vanguard in the creative industry.

Augusto's contributions have been distinguished with an impressive tally of more than 60 prestigious awards, underscoring his skill and influence in the field. This includes securing over 23 awards from the respected Cannes Lion Festival, highlighted by winning the Innovation Grand Prix in 2023 for Augmental's groundbreaking MouthPad — a historic victory marking the first Innovation Grand Prix ever awarded to Peru. He has also been recognized at other renowned festivals, including the One Show, Art Directors Club, LIA, Effie Latam, Effie, D&AD, Epica Awards, Clio, El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, and FIAP, in addition to many local awards.

Throughout his career, Augusto has shared his talent with a series of brands such as Amazon Web Services, Telefónica, Microsoft, Dell, Colgate, Philips, Coca-Cola Company, AB InBev, Samsung, Courvoisier, J&J, Falabella Group, Nestlé, Scotiabank, Motorola, Lenovo and more. His commitment to merging storytelling, craftsmanship, and technology has been instrumental in redefining brands and placing experiential innovation at the forefront of business strategy.

Before joining VML, Augusto refined his skills in boutique design firms and startups, where he revolutionized digital and nondigital services through interdisciplinary fusion, delivering unique customer experiences. He also co-founded Didiom, a pioneering mobile media company specializing in streaming media applications and wireless content delivery platforms.

In 2023, Augusto's was selected as one of the ‘30 most creative individuals in Peru’ by Forbes, embodying his exceptional talent and creative expertise. Additionally, that same year, his role as president of the ‘Content’ category at El Ojo de Iberoamérica underscored his pivotal influence in shaping the creative landscape. In November 2018, he was recognized as one of the ‘20 Best Creative Directors of Latin America’ at the El Ojo de Iberoamérica Festival in Buenos Aires.

Augusto is also an esteemed executive member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), reinforcing his commitment to the advancement of digital arts and sciences. His academic credentials are notable, holding a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Digital Media, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Arts from the University of Massachusetts.
