Elif Onay

Born in 1967 in Ankara, Turkey. Elif received her degree in Architecture in 1991 and her masters in communication in 1993 from New York University.
In 1993 she started to work in advertising at cdp Europe as a copywriter and in 1997 joined Publicis as a group head. She joined Foote, Cone & Belding Istanbul as a founder member and creative director in 1999. Elif became the president of Draftfcb Istanbul in 2006 and she is still the executive creative director.
The clients she has worked with include P&G,Coca Cola, Phillips, Bausch & Laumb, Wrangler, DHL, Toyota, Chrysler, Jeep, Compaq, Reebok, L'Oreal, HP, SCJ, Kraft, Nestle, Nivea, and many other local brands.
Although she refuses to call herself a "painter", strong evidences proving the opposite can be seen hanging on the walls all around Istanbul. She is also founder partner of the first fusion restaurant in Istanbul.
