Richard Gorodecky is a writer, creative director and filmmaker. He has won over sixty industry awards including a Cannes Gold Lion, the Grand Prix at Eurobest, and a Silver Effie. He was short-listed in 2015 for Best International New Director at Kinsale. He has been featured in a number of books and publications and a selection of his work is in the permanent collection at Museum for Art and Craft in Hamburg.
His recent documentary The River Man won Best Short Documentary at Carmarthen Bay, was shortlisted for the Grand Prix and Best Documentary at Cork Film Festival, and was a Finalist for Best Short at Big Sky Film Festival, received Critics Choice in The Irish Sunday Times and has been in the Official Selection of ten international film festivals. His new film 'Little Shit' is currently in production.
