I’m an ad man with three decades of experience in the creative industry, and the co-creator of the Deck of Brilliance, a comprehensive set of idea-generation tools designed for advertising professionals.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with many talented and inspiring creative leaders, particularly across the Asia Pacific region. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to earn over 300 awards, including prestigious Gold Lions from Cannes, Gold Statuettes from the Clios, and Yellow Pencils from D&AD. A personal highlight was being featured in the 2012 D&AD Copy Book, among the writers I’ve long admired. More recently, I was honored to be named in Adweek’s 2020 list of the top 100 creative people in the world.
Beyond ideas, my passions extend to plants, travel, and wine. I’m a self-taught, lifelong student of botany and once served as a plant guide for the Nature Society Singapore and the National Parks Board. Back in 2001, I also helped Louis Ng found Singapore’s first animal welfare and wildlife rescue organization, ACRES, where I proudly served as President for over a decade. ACRES is a dedicated, selfless team, and if you ever need a python rescued from your plumbing or a monkey relocated from your balcony in Singapore, they’re the ones to call!
My specialties include big trans-media ideas, TV, print, engagement, activation, integration, and cause marketing.
