After graduating with a business degree majoring in Industrial Psychology and completing a post graduate degree at AAA School of Advertising in Cape Town, morbid curiosity and the need to pay the rent made Devin Kennedy take his first job in Namibia. After a year stint and winning the Grand Prix at Namibia’s local advertising awards he decided to return to Cape Town in 1999 where he joined the King James Group (Now part of Accenture Interactive) as Junior Copywriter. In 2007 he was he was appointed Creative Director and Executive Creative Director in 2012.
For his sins, he’s won just about every award that matters, both locally and internationally and after twenty odd years, he still gets excited about making cool stuff with his clients’ logos on it.
