Helen is one of British advertising's most high profile leaders. In 2016, Campaign magazine named her the Number 1 suit in the business and Business Insider listed her as one of the top 5 most creative people in advertising, worldwide.
Helen got her first big break at AMV BBDO, where she became the youngest woman to be promoted to the Board (at 28) and ultimately New Business Director.
She has achieved the rare feat of founding 2 successful agencies: MCBD (the IPA's Effectiveness Agency of the Year in 2005, 2007 and 2010) and more recently Lucky Generals (which the Evening Standard recently described as "the coolest agency in town for almost all of its existence").
Despite a stellar agency career, she has a great understanding of what makes marketers tick: she has an MBA (with distinction) from the London Business School and has been a trustee of Cancer Research UK for 4 years. In particular, as a former President of WACL, she is a passionate supporter of women in marketing and of diversity in business.
Calcraft has the distinction of being recognized as being named an “AdAge Women to Watch Europe 2018” honoree.
