Chris bears one distinction from the 700 Groupers he’s lucky enough to call coworkers: He is the only one to have met Alex Trebek.
Since Chris joined The Richards Group in 1999, his work has garnered shiny knickknacks from The One Show, Communication Arts, and the Radio Mercury Awards. He has lectured at the University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M, and his alma mater, Penn State.
Chris is also a comedian and 18-year veteran with Ad-Libs, Dallas’s longest-running improv comedy troupe. He’s a regular contributor to trivia magazine mental_floss, for whom he has coauthored three books. He writes jokes for Fox TV’s Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen. And yes, in March 2006, Chris realized a lifelong dream by competing on his favorite game show, Jeopardy! He won – twice. To the tune of $43,199. It’s a tune Chris wistfully whistles while watching his wife and three children spend his winnings.
