About me
Edson Athayde has worked in Advertising, Marketing and Communication for over 35 years.
During his career, he worked at large agencies such as Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy and FCB in Portugal and Spain.
Since 2014 he has been CEO & Creative Director of FCB Lisbon.
Edson has published 12 books (including two novels). He writes for theatre and film. He has hosted television programs and taught creativity, political marketing, and communication courses.
Edson is the most awarded advertising professional working in Portugal, having won more than 1,000 awards and nominations at national and international festivals, including Cannes (11 Lions, including the only Portuguese Grand Prix in history), Epica Awards, Clio, NYF, AdForum PHNX, Eurobest, Cresta, El Ojo, FIAP, Montreux, Art Directors Club of Spain, among many others.
